I thought, why not build my own? so I started to see tutorials and try to make a proper one and adjusted to my liking.».

Tailor made snare drums

Making a snare drum, for example, the most important drum of the drumset, reveals a meticulous craftsmanship that can take, on average, a month to complete.

A full battery set can take about six months to build. It consists of a bass drum, four timpani and a snare drum or more depending on the customer demand. The musician will always be able to customize all the options: the type of wood, the dimensions, the hardware, the screws, the types of skins, among many other details. It will be all meticulous, with great attention to detail and detail.

I think this will make a difference. For example, after the hull is done, I measure the frequency of the sound (in hertz) which is then translated into a musical note and written on the inside of the structure so that the skins can be tuned in the corresponding tone. There are few brands that do this. At the end, the instrument will carry my logo, next to the signature of the artist / client. Almost all great drummers have signature materials, created specifically for them.
